Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to a few Malayalam films. In 2018, she received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as the character Savitri. In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She began her career as a child actor at the beginning of 2000 and was back in films following her studies of fashion design. Her debut lead role in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success in the theater. The director was A. L. Vijay along with Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare very well, but it was released. The busy schedule she had throughout the year resulted in her having decide to pull out of projects that she was working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to take on bigger projects. She consequently made two films with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the lead part in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari and Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. But, the movie has been in the process of being delayed, and there are speculation of a release date after September in 2020, under the new title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan.
